In the main competition, in addition to the eight qualifiers, two more seeds will participate: a finalist round to determine the four semi-finalists from the 10 ghost storytellers, a semi-finalist round to determine the two finalists, and the winner of the final two ghost storytellers will be crowned the 2018 "Kaiou" Ghost Storyteller of the Year.
