Legend has it that during the Ming Dynasty, a guard in Jinyi was ordered to arrest corrupt officials. He was seriously injured and was saved by a passing little cook. In order to repay his kindness, Jin Yiwei, chose to stay and take root in the country. When the descendants of the little chef were practicing their knife skills by killing chickens and geese, they accidentally discovered that the chicken, duck and fish sliced using this method were very tender and had a good taste. It became chef Zhong Zheng's unique secret recipe for making excellent delicious food. After seeing Zhong Zheng's superb cooking skills, the genius god of food Zhong Yupeng, persuaded Zhong Zheng to use his embroidered spring knife as a gimmick to attract tourists from the Internet. Although the effect was remarkable, it also attracted some ill-intentioned people who coveted the embroidered spring knife.
