Mahmut, who lives with his family in Şanlıurfa, is a successful blacksmith. Mahmut's son Yusuf has reached marriageable age, and they decide to ask for the hand of the neighbor girl he has had his heart set on for a long time. The families agree, and the wedding date is set. However, on the wedding day, something happens that changes everyone's lives. On the wedding night, Yusuf is killed in a gang-related incident.
