The team investigates an arson murder involving head pastor Tolle, who is found burned to death inside the Jeriko parish church. The church’s other pastor is Ellen Bengtsdotter Dahl, a childhood friend of Alex. The case quickly becomes personal, and Alex faces difficult choices as her professional duties clash with her past.
