Oh Brave New Home(2024)
A story about children and adults who migrated from eastern Ukraine because of the war and found themselves far from home in a hostel for displaced people. This is a film about the everyday life and pain of refugees, about the search for small details that give strength to live and about adults who are tired of war. It is a self-reflection of refugees who believe that they will soon return home, without a clear understanding of when this will be possible and what awaits them there.

Kids, who are studying at FIGA Film Studio, which exists at "Karavella" camp for 44 years, as well as their teachers, thought about it. They thought and created a film in a short period of time, just for 4 months only. There is no falling of Cinderella's boot here, no folden carriages and no mice turning to horses, but there are Internet and orbital satellites. There are also kids and adults who can do brave voluntary actions and childish pranks. As well as friendship which can do real magic. Based on Vladislav Krapivin's play "What will happen, if?.." Each fled violent threats to their lives in their home countries and presented themselves at the US border asking for political asylum, only to be incarcerated in a for-profit prison for months on end without having committed any crime. Thousands more like them can't tell their stories.

Crayons and Paper follows Dr. Jerry Ehrlich, a New Jersey pediatrician who worked with Doctors Without Borders in war zones including Sri Lanka, Haiti, the Caucasus, and Darfur. Alongside medical care, he gave children crayons and paper, encouraging them to draw their experiences. The resulting images—bombings, shootings, and burning villages—offer a raw, heartbreaking glimpse into the impact of war on children. These drawings serve as powerful testimonies, capturing trauma that words cannot. This short film tells Dr. Jerry’s story and honors the children whose art bears witness to the horrors of conflict.

Between February and April 2025, filmmakers Bernard-Henri Lévy and Marc Roussel filmed the Pokrovsk and Soumy fronts in eastern Ukraine, following the fighters of the Anne de Kyiv Brigade, armed by France. They filmed the daily lives of the inhabitants, bombarded by Russian forces terrorizing civilians on the eve of possible negotiations. They interview President Zelenskyy, who is reluctant to travel to Washington, and then watch the rebroadcast of the meeting with Ukrainian soldiers in a bunker. For the real heroes are the anonymous fighters and civilians who hold their heads high in the face of adversity and suffering, and who are filmed on a daily basis. The final part of Lévy’s “Ukrainian Quartet”, Our War is a diary, peppered with flashbacks in which the author recalls the high points of this war that began in 2014.
