When radiant and mischievous thirteen year old Tiana meets just moved Char who has difficulty settling into the new neighbourhood, she quickly takes the new friend under her wing. Soothed by Tiana’s mellow disposition to the big scary world outside, the two become inseparable in a matter of weeks navigating the ups and downs of early adulthood together. Yet, eventually, the two lose contact when Tiana isolates herself from everyone after a sudden tragedy hits.
