Overview:
Three brothers living in Balat, one of Istanbul's old neighborhoods, each struggling to make ends meet in their own way: Gürkan, who earns a living as a taxi driver; Orhan, who runs a rice shop; and Duran, who is hopelessly in love. The story is based on the memories of writer-director Yılmaz Erdoğan of the last summer of his childhood in Hakkâri, Turkey in 1980.
