Song Zhaoren and his wife Xin Ke’er have been married for three years. On the surface, their life seems happy, but in reality their relationship is already in crisis. One day, Zhaoren confesses to Ke’er that he has fallen in love with a music teacher and decides to get a divorce. Struck by this blow, Ke’er is forced to learn to live independently and also begins a new romance.
