Lucia is a Mexican girl from a poor town who sets her mind to cross the border to The United States to find her son's father who she hasn't heard from in years. On the road she meets Fernanda, a high middle class girl that has unresolved issues with her ex-boyfriend and is willing to travel hundreds of miles to resolve them once and for all. Lucia and Fernanda are two girls from two very different social backgrounds, yet they travel the same road hoping to reconnect with the men they love.
