Argentine dictatorship, 1978. About to have a child, Ernesto moves in with his girlfriend Paloma. What he doesn't know is that the military is looking for them. When they are arrested, they are taken to a clandestine prison. Once there, Paloma dies in childbirth, and Ernesto is tortured to death. In 2010, Alejandro, Ernesto's priest brother, thinks he recognizes the couple's daughter, Natalia.
