It's almost like a fairy tale. Nick blossoms, feels strong and seems to be on the winning side. But his supposed happiness dissolves into nothing overnight. Eve's demanding lovemaking and drugs drive Nick to commit a terrible act. He flees in a panic. When he regains consciousness, he leads the police to the scene of the crime.
