The pilot signals to a Norwegian-flagged ship that responds to shooting at the aircraft. The pilot is hurt but is able to land on the water. He is picked up by a Norwegian boat on his way to Kristiansand. Before he dies, he tells Captain Knut Viker and the governor Harald Bakken if this happened.
