Ernesto arrives in Buenos Aires from Germany, where he has lived since childhood, having been taken by his grandparents after his parents disappeared during the dictatorship. Now he has returned to the country that caused him so much harm, to take charge of the negotiations his grandfather's company maintained with Argentine firms until his recent death. As soon as he arrives in the country, fragments of a past he thought was lost return to his mind, and what was supposed to be a quick business transaction turns into an odyssey as he begins his search for a mysterious place and, unwittingly, for his own identity.
