As a result of the kidnapping of Elena Echevarría Zarate, his doubts grow. After a process that his mind constructs on a theatrical stage, Pedro makes a final decision. There is no love between Elena and Pedro, at least not in the traditional sense, but there is emotional communication and intellectual warmth. Above all, there is humanity.
