In September 1992, recordings were made at Grand Café De Kroon on Rembrandtplein in Amsterdam for The Naked Truth. The project did not hit like a bomb, but over the course of 1993 the Naked Truth virus spread like wildfire and by the summer of 1993 the record was still in the top ten of the album chart.
