The film tells the story of a man who flees abroad and his relationship with a foreign woman. The man is in prison for a thought crime. The man's sole purpose in escaping from prison is to leave the country. With the help of a friend, he goes to France to stay with his brother. There, he meets a woman named Michelle, who is going through personal difficulties. Despite the language barrier, the two quickly fall in love. Meanwhile, the man applies for asylum in France. However, when his application is rejected, he leaves France and returns to Turkey. Michelle, who refuses to give up on her lover, decides to follow him to Turkey.
