Overview
The History of Early Erotic Cinema presents the fascinating historical journey of how, with the invention of the film camera, all the sexual fantasies and fictions previously hidden and repressed in human consciousness were projected onto the screen, breaking existing taboos. It takes viewers on a unique and in-depth journey into the unknown earliest examples of erotic film collections that pushed the boundaries of pornography, and into the understanding and aesthetics of sexuality in the early 1900s. It tells the story of the transformation from amateur films dealing with sexuality during the silent film era to a multi-million dollar pornography industry that commodified and marketed sexuality.
