Heavy guitars, long hair, crosses, and demons: heavy metal from Minas Gerais became one of Brazil’s most influential scenes. Belo Horizonte gave rise to bands such as Overdose, Sarcófago, and one of the biggest metal acts in the world, Sepultura.
